Your holders sail. Their berths keep earning.
Turn holders' absences into bookable nights, with a return guarantee and automatic credit for the holder. The marina stays in control of guests, prices and liability.
What changes for you
Today, and with MarinaOS.
Today
- Annual berths are paid for but empty for weeks in summer.
- Nobody knows when holders leave or when they will be back.
- Visiting boats are turned away while berths sit empty.
With MarinaOS
- Holders declare an absence in seconds from their phone.
- Confirmed empty nights are sold automatically to boats that fit.
- Holders earn credit and the marina earns revenue from the same quay.
How it works
Four steps from empty berth to credit.
Step 1: The holder taps "I'm away"
The holder sets departure and return dates in the app or by chat. The office can also declare it for them.
Trigger: absence declared
Step 2: The dockmaster confirms
The berth is only sold after a dockmaster confirms in the app that the boat has actually left.
Check: boat has left
Step 3: MarinaOS sells the nights
The berth is offered to visiting boats that fit, one short stay at a time, at your prices.
Short stays sold
Step 4: The holder gets credit
The holder returns to their berth and the credit earned is applied to their next invoice.
Credit on next invoice
Return guarantee: if the holder comes back early, the guest is moved to an equivalent berth automatically and the dockmaster gets the relocation plan.
Capabilities
Everything a marina needs to share berths safely.
Berth Share is marina-operated, not peer-to-peer subletting. Your marina sells the nights, keeps the guest relationship and defines the rules.
Absence declaration
Holders declare trips in the app or by chat; the office can declare on their behalf.
Departure confirmation
Nights are only sold after a dockmaster confirms the boat has left.
Night-by-night selling
Short stays are released gradually, with a buffer before the planned return.
Return guarantee
Early-return notice windows set by your marina, with a clear protocol.
Automatic relocation
Guests are moved to an equivalent or larger berth and notified with a map.
Holder credit ledger
Nights shared, revenue generated and credit applied, visible to each holder.
Marina revenue report
Incremental revenue, share rate per holder and fill rate of shared nights.
Rules in holder contracts
Opt-in or contractual participation, credit percentage and notice periods.
Pre-season reminders
Holders are prompted to declare their summer plans before the season starts.
Revenue estimate
How many nights is your quay missing?
Estimated extra per season
+958 nights
Illustrative estimate: assumes holders are away 21 nights in summer, 38% of those nights are shared and sold, and the marina keeps 60% after holder credit. Your demo uses your own data.

Berth Share questions.
Is Berth Share subletting?
No. The marina, not the holder, sells the nights. The marina keeps control of pricing, guests and liability, and the holder receives credit against future invoices. Participation rules are written into the holder contract.
When does a shared berth become bookable?
Only after the boat has physically left. A dockmaster confirms the departure in the app, and until then the berth is shown as a planned share and is not sold. A configurable buffer keeps the last night before the planned return unsold.
What if the holder comes back early?
MarinaOS finds an equivalent or larger free berth for the guest, alerts the office and dockmaster with a relocation plan and notifies the guest with the new berth. Your marina sets the early-return notice window.
How much credit does the holder receive?
Your marina decides: a percentage of the net berth revenue, a fixed amount per night or a tiered rate. Credit is recorded in the holder ledger and applied automatically to the next invoice or renewal.
